1- Improves comfort fast! Ingredients are included to specifically improve gastric comfort. Temperament issues related to gastric discomfort are common. Horses that suffer from frequent mild colic symptoms typically improve.

2 - Live culture probiotics help re-populate the hind gut with healthy bacteria in every scoop. 

3- Gently buffers stomach pH without excessive calcium. Calcium is a popular natural buffer to increase pH however the calcium:phosphorus ratio is one of the most important mineral ratios in horse health. An ideal ration is 1.5:1 and a ratio above 6:1 can interfere with absorbtion of other minerals. We have controlled the calcium level to that which can be used safely long term. 

Gastro Go is a tried and true formula that soothes the gastro intestinal tract fast and gives horses the nutrients they need to recover from gastric upsets and ulceration. Appetite often improves quickly within just a few days of feeding or syringing Gastro Go, also temperament improves.

GASTRIC ULCERATION IN HORSES
 
It is commonly known that gastric ulceration is a significant issue with working horses, and common even in foals. Research suggests that over 80% of all working horses struggle with this issue routinely. Modern day practises of meal feeding, reduced fibre, work and environment stress, high starch diets such as unprocessed grains and stabling are all contributing factors. 

Signs of gastric distress /discomfort -
Cribbing.
Windsucking.
Spooky behaviour.
Reacting to girthing or girth area.
Picky appetite.
Gorging hay.
Poor condition.
Anxious “on edge” demeanour.
Dislike of grooming. 

Horses can have none or many or just one of these symptoms. Many horses with ulcers show no symptoms at all and internalise the discomfort. 

Studies have consistently shown that upwards of 80% horses in stable barns have ulceration. 95% in the racing sector. 
 
Nutritionally we can be proactive in helping horses be less susceptible to ulceration and we can aid the body by supplying nutrients to aid recovery.
